What is Certified Pre-Owned?
The following list is standard for all boats that become certified through the Russell Marine pre-owned boat certification program:
- One Year Engine Warranty
- 30 point Vessel Inspection (includes: engine/generator tune up; engine compression check; inspect and change anodes where needed; inspection of electrical, fresh water, and waste system; inspect belts and pulleys and adjust replace as needed; grease all fittings, cables and wear points; check kill switch; inspect exhaust system; inspect cooling system; check all safety points of vessel; inspect engine alignment; verify with manufacture that there are no bulletins outstanding on boat or engine)
- Change oil and filter (on Generator where applicable)
- Complete Engine and Generator oil and filter change
- Replace fuel filter
- Remove old transom name
- Change outdrive or transmission fluids
- Replace water pump impellers (on engine and generator)
- Inspect trailer where applicable
- Complete detailing
- In water demo
- Captains orientation
- Launch vessel for marine survey
